– Troubleshooting and tuning of SEP

IT Auditor-TX

This position is responsible for conducting audits of financial and operational controls of various departments to ensure compliance with prescribed procedures and policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting or Finance;
*Requires 1 year of system auditing, and programming analysis; and
*Knowledge of basic audit standards and processes, systems design, system operations, end user computing technologies, and audit software

Preferred Skills:
*Excellent written and oral communication skills and
*Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation.

Essential Functions
*Participate in developing new or revising standard programs for assigned system audits in the internal control areas of the company. Perform risk analysis on system audit areas to identify most critical and high priority areas.
*Prepare flowcharts and supporting work papers, when necessary, to perform an audit or assignment.
*Research, develop and revise special computer audit programs designed to assist in performing and conducting financial and operating audits throughout the company.
*Prepare and submit reports to Lead Systems Auditor detailing findings, conclusions and recommendations developed during the course of an audit assignment.
*Review operations for conformance to established policy and procedures and Information System industry standards.
*Participate in examining accounting and statistical data of departments to verify transactions are properly and accurately recorded.
*Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
*Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
*Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

Understand data retention and audit requirements and their impact on enterprise information architecture. Experience designing and implementing high performance data structures. Experience in data modeling, including logical and physical model design. Experience in database design methodologies, database architectures; ETL tools and related integration technologies. Translate strategic requirements into a usable enterprise information architecture, which may include an enterprise data model, associated metamodel, common business vocabulary, ontologies and taxonomies, which will then be used to guide enterprise solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio. Oversee mapping of enterprise information architecture models to package application models, to determine impact or assess suitability of vendor solutions to enterprise information architecture requirements.

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing timely and accurate data/reports using mainframe/PC systems to support the department or division and perform additional program activities. This role is responsible for reporting, tracking and trending analysis to support operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:
* Produce reporting, tracking, trending and analysis to support operational effectiveness.
* Produce meaningful reporting and analysis utilizing various sources, including but not limited to the data warehouses available on Teradata, accessing the data via SQL query language, Queryman, Impromptu or other available query applications.
* Create and maintain PC and mainframe databases as needed to ensure availability and accuracy of data for reporting needs using SQL, Impromptu, Queryman, SAS, Visual Basic and/or MS Access.
* Design, implement and maintain user-friendly databases for various areas to meet reporting and analysis requirements.
* Maintain documentation of all requests, data parameters and reports in an accurate and accessible manner.
* Represent department or division on various committees.
* Streamline reporting as much as possible by automating queries, etc. and/or placing reports in production to minimize manual efforts

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree OR 4 years business reporting experience.
* 3 years utilizing database software to manipulate data, generate reports and analyze data.
* 3 years experience in SQL programming.
* Thorough knowledge of PC windows based applications, including Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
* Experience with visual basic and crystal reports.
* Skills to anticipate additional reporting parameters and confirm requirements as needed.
* Verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills necessary to work in a team environment.
* Organizational skills and experience managing completion of multiple projects

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree with concentration in Business, Math or Computer Science.
* Experience with ICD, CPT and other industry standard codes.
* Experience in managed care statistical analysis, trending, tracking and reporting of focused populations on a routine and ad hoc basis
