Contract Specialist

Location: Chicago

Duration: 2 months

This position is responsible for participating in and supporting business-critical initiatives. These initiatives may include the executing simple contracts, contract and roster review, coordinating with operational and credentialing teams for contract and roster loading, coordinating and collaborating with other teams across the enterprise. This position will require experience or familiarity with Medicare Advantage plans and/or contracting. It will require learning of systems, Salesforce, DocuSign, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office, among others. We need a fast learner and someone who can hit the ground running.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Ability to interface with providers if necessary
2. Cross-functional coordination and collaboration
3. Willingness and ability to navigate organizational systems and processes
4. Communication with contracting team to ensure timelines and priorities remain on track
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree with two-year’s experience in contracting or contract management/coordination
2. Experience with Medicare Advantage products/contracts
3. Function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations 4. PC skills and power-user with Microsoft Office
5. Verbal and written communication skills to include correct grammar, clear, concise, and appropriate word choice and tone
6. Listening and interpersonal skills
7. Experience working in teams
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
1. Contract negotiation experience
2. Salesforce and Docusign proficienc
