Supply Chain Analyst/Specialist improves the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires attention to details, in-depth understanding of the sourcing process and exceptional analytics skills. The position requires use of interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from research, stakeholders’ perspective to define specifications and requirements and leading and conducting internal and external data analysis.
The qualified candidate must be advanced Excel user with a strong business acumen (ability to tell the story with the data). The position requires knowledge of the sourcing and RFP processes, analyze findings, present results and make recommendations.
Duties and responsibilities:
– Conduct market assessment of the selected categories and create the written reports for the leadership group
– Collect data and analyze historical spend, business requirements and market data to execute against existing sourcing and negotiation strategies
– Develop and execute projects plans to enhance supply chain operations
– Measure vendor performance and evaluate the compliance with the established procurement standards
– Assist in contract review, drafting and interpretation contract terms and conditions to establish favorable purchase agreements including but not limited to simple to moderate complexity Master Services Agreements, Statement of Works, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Purchase Agreements and License Agreements
– Communicate project deliverables with the stakeholders and suppliers while delivering within the outlined timeframe and budget
– Planning and executing communications strategies to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to business stakeholders and suppliers
Qualifications:
– Superior written and verbal communication skills
– Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel. Word and PPT)
– Comfortable with adopting use of additional systems and databases (i.e. Salesforce, eRFP, etc. )
– Critical thinking; able to identify complex issues and solutions, anticipate questions and concerns and provide practical solutions, insightful advice and direction
– Knowledge of strategic sourcing principles
– Exceptional organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with fast-paced turnaround times
