WAN/LAN Network Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Minimum 3 years work experience in a multi-protocol distributed computing environment. Must possess deep, in-depth knowledge and experience of networking LAN, WAN, network securities (e.g., Firewall, Proxy’s, IDS/IPS) and wireless technologies. Proficiency with network design and configuration of large-scale voice and/or data networking infrastructures (e.g., Routers, Firewalls, VPN’s, Servers, VOIP technologies, switches, telecommunications facilities).
Must have a solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and their operating systems in addition to network management systems. Must have expert troubleshooting proficiency with voice and data infrastructure (e.g., Routers, Switches, and VOIP technologies) and network securities (e.g., Firewall, and IDS). Must have expert proficiency with dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, and BGP). Must be able to implement system management tools and processes such as Infoblox, Netbrain, Gigamon, Cisco ISE and Netflow.
Must have experience working in a large, complex corporate environment supporting Cisco 2900, 4330 6500, 7000, ASR, Nexus, ASA series devices, Palo Alto, network architecture and design, detailed troubleshooting, network configuration, security, authentication and access management. Certifications preferred CCNA or CCNP.
